So in a bid to promote renewable energy,  CSIR-CMERI both cllabotrated to enhance solar energy in the country and with this purpose they have developed the world's largest solar tree which is installed in Durgapur,  West Bengal.  Features of the Solar Tree The main features of this solar tree are:-  1. As per knowledge it will produce upto 11,500 watts(11.5kw). After that the second largest tree is set up in London and produce about 8.6kw. 2.
