Cuba is an archipelago of islands  which is located in Caribbean sea .it is the part of North american continent  . It is  also known as the sugar bowl in the world. 

Cuba is lie west of the North Atlantic Ocean, south of straits of Florida, Northwest of windward passage and Northeast of Yucatan channel. The main Island make up most of the land area .

Cuba is the largest island in the Caribbean sea.  Cuba officially the republic of cuba  , in Spanish it is known as Republica de cuba is a country comprising the island of cuba and several minor archipelagos. Located in the northern Caribbean where the Caribbean sea, Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic ocean meet. It is south  of both U.S state of Florida and the Bahamas  , north of both jamaica and cayman islands.

Cuba is 1,250 km long, costituting most of the nation land area ,and it is largest in Caribbean sea and 17 th largest island in the world by land area. The main island consists mostly  of flat to rolling plains apart from the Sierra Maestra mountains in the southeast , whose highest point is Pico Turquino.

Cuba is known for its beautiful classic cars ,world famous revolutionary cigars and many other things found in such a fascinating place.

Cuba is the home of smallest bird in the world

Including bee hummingbird which is the smallest birds in the world  ,  cuba is the home to over 25 endemic bird species . The tiny bird grow in 6 cm in length and has vivid , irridescent colour that you may likely to mistake it with insect. 


One of the best places to spot the bee hummingbird is Alexander Humboldt National park , a large tropical forest near Baracoa in eastern Cuba .
