All facts about Upcoming Indias largest Airport :- Noida International Airport 


The new Airport,  coming up in Uttar Pradesh 
And Recently  this new jewar Airport name has been changed and now the new official name of Jewar International Airport is " Noida International Airport " which is located in Greater Noida and will be India's largest Airport after completion. 
          
       Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath give   the go ahead to name , design and logo said " Noida International Airport " will be global brand which will be  one of the best Airport in the world and assured that his government will do all efforts to make all the things world class in UP . 

 All facts about it :- 
  • The Airport  will have six runways that will be similar to the world's largest Airport . And after completion it will become India's largest Airport 

  •  After completion It will be among the largest Airports in the world , including O' Hare International  Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. 


Area :- As Airport is expected to come up on about 5,000 hectares of land but government has acquired 1,334 hectares . The project has made significant headway with land aquisition 
Complete and handover  of the land to Zurich AG for the first phase likely by mid 2021.

Logo:- The Airoport has the logo of sarus crane in  a " flying posture"  so as to indicate connectivity with the rest of the world .

A creative team was formed by Zurich AG to work on the sarus crane suggestion .  The designer arrived at the final logo by merging the motifs of a sarus in flight , The flying wings of sarus in the logo shows idea  to connected with the  rest of the world .

Why sarus crane include as logo ?

The suggestion of including Sarus crane as a logo because of  the reason that - 

1. Sarus crane is the state bird of Uttar Pradesh 
2. One  of the intresting fact is that , it is found in large numbers around the project site .

Design of passenger terminal:-  

The swiss company has finalised four companies  constrium to design the passenger terminal at the Airport.  The winner team includes four companies  from Norway , England  and India-- -- Nordic , Grimshaw , Haptic and STUP assigned to design  the passenger terminal of  Noida International Airport .



Who build jewar Airport :-  

The Airport is being built by Swiss developer Zurich Airport  International 
The new Airport coming up in Uttar Pradesh  will be known as Noida International Greenfiel Airport that location will be 70 km from Delhi 
 It is being built along the Yamuna expressway.  The Yamuna Airport Private Limited (YAPL) , a 100 % subsudiary of Zurich International Airport has been allotted 1,334 hectares of land in jewar along the expressway for the Airport .

When It get completed :- 

The Airport will be build  with in next three and half years .in between 2023- 2024 .
Estimated budget:- 29, 560 crore .
First phase :-  company will build one runway




The first phase construction cost estimation is 4,500 crore .

The Airpot is exected to carter 12 million passengers per annum after the first phase construction.
