   Koo App : A homemade version of the social networking site .


Koo app is the newly developed app which is now mostly used by the government officials in place of Twitter.  Day after the centre asked Twitter to " suspend or block" nearly 1,200 accounts , who citing " misinformation and provacation content "  on the farmer's protest , several ministers and department of the union government  have started flocking on koo App - homemade version of the social networking platform. 

Who develop this app 

The microblogging site was co - founded by enterprenure Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidwatka . 

Koo app was launched in early 2020 , its participation  and the subsequent winning of the government's  Atmanirbhar App innovation challenge  brought it under the limelight .

Following the outcome of Atmanirbhar app innovation challenge thiswas also mention by the Prime minister in his mann ki baat address

What is koo app 


Koo app functions is same like Twitter,  that is a microblogging site . It is used to express views  and thoughts on various topics .

The app supports multiple Indian languages.  Koo app support

6. Malayalam 

7.Gujarati

All the koo app users can share various posts on audio, video ,photi on it.

Like Twitter, koo also direct messages to be used by its users . 

One intresting fact is anyone can also conduct poll on the microblogging website.

Many prominent persons  have their accounts on koo app like Anil kumble, union IT ministery , Nity aayog ,indian post , commerce ministry piyush goyal etc .

Government of India support koo app and pushed an alternative in the market against the other social media platform . The only cocern using koo app is being cutoff from the rest of the world . The domestic audience would shift to koo app as smaller microblogging site. So to Express our thoughts in our boundary  it is very useful app and shows the symbol of Atmanirbhar bharat .
