What is the meaning of  this PPL

Other than IPL , PPL(plastic Premier league) is a unique tournament that will be played in indore City ( Madhya Pradesh) to free the city from single-use plastic . 

Who launch this tournament ?

Indore municipal corporation (IMC) launched this tournament in order discourage the use of single-use  plastic . 

Know all facts about this tournament :- 

Indore is known for its outstanding efforts in relation to cleanliness ,and you all very well aware that Indore has been awarded as the cleanest city in the country four time till now .

  • The league involves radio partners  , under which Four team will be formed for in  the plastic Premier league competition .
  • The 19  zones areas of Indore Municipal  Corporation  will be divided into these four teams. 
  • First team is of My FM which is going to be mentored by Sushil Doshi while RJ viny is the captain. This team will work under zone number  5 , 6 ,7 and 9.
  • The second team will be of Red FM , of which Naman ojha is the mentore and captain is RJ Ravi Gurjar .this team will work under zone number 1, 2, 3 and 4 .
  • The third team will be of Big FM , of which Sanjay Jagdale is mentor and RJ Neetu is Captain   under zone number 10 , 11 12 , 18 and 19 .
  • The fourth team will be Radio Mirchi , whose mentor is Amay Khurasia and RJ vedansh is Captain .the team will work under the zone number 13 ,14 ,15 ,16 and 17 .
  • Captain from each station will  lead their respective teams and motivate people to donate more and more plastic. 
  • The team that collects the most single use plastic will be awarded the PPL trophy in this competition. 
  • This is 45 days tournament. 
  • For the competition , the team captain Radio jockey will encourage citizens to donate more and more plastic from their radio station . 
  • These teams have been provided by municipal workers and five vehicles to collect plastic 
The trophy which is to be given to the winners of the competition was also unveiled at Ravindra Natya Griha .



"Swachhta ka punch" song released 

 Thinking As cleanest city tag for 5th  time , a row , IMC also released motivation song " Indore lagayega swachhta ka punch " in the voice of Bollywood singer shaan. This video help in the formation of heritage building here. On the occasion,  " mera thela , mera reusable kit " initiative was also launched. Divisional commissioner and IMC administrator Pawan kumar sharma said four things are common behind Indore clinching cleanest city four times in a row. 

1. Motivational song by shaan.

2. Employees and officers engaged in work to ensuring cleanliness.

3. Media and social media due to which awareness of cleanliness  spreads amongst people. 

4. Citizens of the city who ensure cleanliness in the city 

Conclusion

In eyeing for gaining 5th time number one position, Indore now plan to eradicate single use plastic for its next level planning and for this each level efforts has been made and PPL Is one of the part of this effort. And aftre one week of this tournament at least 1 tonn of plastic has already collected.
